Get Green with your Coffee, Use a Travel Mug
No one is going to stop you from getting your daily fix(es) of coffee, or tea. That would just be preposterous! However, you can help out the environment by using your own reusable travel mug or cup. This isn’t something most of us think about early in the morning when our brains are still decaffeinated, but Americans use and throw away more than 14 million billion paper coffee cups a year. The majority of cups are bleached with chlorine and lined with plastic to prevent leakage, making them not so biodegradable friendly. So, if you haven’t already, get a reusable travel mug (you can take it everywhere!) or other reusable cup suitable for hot liquids.
