Freshen Your Breath with a Natural Mouthwash

We are all in the pursuit of getting or maintaining a fresh, pleasant-smelling mouth. But, the conventional mouthwashes that we use are usually part of the bad breath problem, rather than the solution. Conventional mouthwashes use drying alcohols, synthetic dyes, low-grade solvents, and chemical sweeteners. That’s not exactly stuff that you want in your mouth.
Instead, look for a natural mouthwash. There are several brands you may be familiar with already, such as Jason, Tom’s of Maine, and Weleda. These products will use extracts, botanicals, essential oils, mints (peppermint, spearmint), and other natural ingredients (for the most part, anyway–read carefully) to freshen your breath. Go to your local drugstore or natural/green store and find a natural mouthwash today…everyone just may thank you for doing so! ; )

Just a few important points to ponder: If it is a liquid and it is sold in a store, then it is not 100% natural. It has to be preserved with either a preservative, a very low ph which is really bad for teeth, or alcohol. To find a truly natural and healthy mouthwash, check out http://www.xylosalt.com. Designed by a dentist, not a chemist!
